Harper's big girl room!

The time has come! Harper has outgrown the crib and changing table, so we changed her room over to a big girl room now that she's going to be a big sister. So far things are going great! She is loving the new bed and she loves the tree that Rob painted on her wall. We are so proud of her that she is adjusting so well!

A long overdue update!

Life has gotten the best of us and our poor little family blog has seen better days! Harper's in bed, Rob is coaching basketball, and I'm sitting on the couch with the bulldog - what better time to update the blog!

It's hard to imagine that Harper is going to be 2 years old in just nearly 2 months! Where did all the time go? She's changed so much in such a short amount of time. Even in these past few months she's become such a big girl. She's regularly speaking in 3-4 word sentences, and boy does she let her thoughts be known. My favorite conversation I have had with her.... (Chicky, our bulldog, had just pooped in the house much to my dismay. Harper sees it and runs to tell me) Harper says: "Eeewwww Mommy! Chicky pooped! Harper's nose owww!" It was just about the funniest and cutest thing I have ever heard. I couldn't stop laughing.

In other exciting news, the pregnancy is going well - I'm 25 weeks along. I have placenta previa this time around so I have some lifting restrictions - I can't lift more than a gallon of milk! It's been difficult because Harper doesn't understand why I can't lift her, but this too shall pass, and it'll all be worth it in the end. Little Bennett is doing just great in there! He's more active than Harper was, which I didn't even think was possible. We are really looking forward to being a family of four!

Even the doctors office can be fun!

We had to take Harper in for her 21 month check up yesterday. She did great despite having to sit in the room for an hour waiting for the pediatrician to come in.

Her current stats -- 31lbs 34.5 inches tall. She's tall and becoming a skinny minnie!

In other news, we were referred to a pediatric pulmonary specialist for Harper's reoccurring pneumonia (4 times in 9 months). We are going on March 5th and hopefully we can get some answers. She's been such a trooper!
